St Bees Bash, Saturday 29th June
We had a great time at the King George IV at Eskdale on Sunday 9th June. The weather was kind enough to hold the rain off for us. There was an enthusiastic appreciative audience.

Our first concert at St Bees Priory on Friday 18th May. The Training Band opened the event.
We were delighted to welcome the Royal Northern College of Music to our Rehearsal on Monday the 22nd April. Their Brass Quintet played pieces for us, beginning with our training band, then they mingled with our players giving tips to our players. Later they played a couple of pieces at the start of our Senior Band session and then sat with us for our rehearsal. Every body enjoyed the evening. This is part of their drive to encourage more Brass playing around our area. They are grateful to have been left a generous legacy from a Cumbrian Engineer, Benny Walker who was passionate about Brass playing, and pledged his Charitable Trust to support Music and Engineering in West Cumbria.
We hope to welcome them again in the future.
Whilst they were here they visited local schools to play and enthuse the students. This was them at Bookwell Primiry.
